How to Spend Christmas in Banff & Lake Louise

Christmas in Banff & Lake Louise is one of those times when everything looks like it should be a picture from a storybook or a scene within a snow globe; the kind of place that leaves you wondering - “is this even real?”. The trees are dressed in snow, the streets are lit up with twinkling lights, and the Christmas festivities are all around. If you’re planning on visiting this special place over the holidays (which we strongly suggest you do) here are some of the festive activities you can expect to get involved in starting mid-November.

Word on the street... Santa can ski! Which means, like us, Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be out hitting the slopes, getting their last few runs in before the big day. Head out to Banff Sunshine to spot Santa on the slopes and grab a cheeky photo!

Located centrally in downtown Banff, you can expect to see talented artists performing on the Cascade Main Stage, along with other talented performers and musicians. Beyond the stage, there are a range of activities for all ages.
